HARVEST OF HOPE FEST is right around the corner and we wanted to do our part in getting the word out one last time about the event because A. It's awesome and B. It's for a really great cause. The three day event is taking place March 12-14 at the St. Johns County Fairground in Elkton, Florida (Right near St. Augustine) and features a ton of great bands from an array of extremely diverse genres for an extremely low price. Sounds awesome already right? Well to top it off, all of the proceeds go to help support migrant farm workers all over the country. I'm sure I couldn't do justice to all of the great work the Harvest of Hope Foundation does, so I'll leave it to you to go check out their WEBSITE.
This year at HOH, a bunch of current and past Kiss of Death bands are going to be performing over the long weekend including:
Virgins
New Bruises
Bomb the Music Industry!
The Measure (SA)
O' Pioneers!
Anchor Arms
How Dare You
Too Many Daves
and Gatorface
We'll also have a booth set up with records to sell. I'll be hanging out there some and you can bring me beers. Or if Bryon is there you can bring him coffee because he's nailed to the X like it's 1995.
ALSO on an added fun note. 3/4 of New Bruises will be filling in for O' Pioneers! on this little trip as Eric's backing band, so get ready to watch them butcher all of his great songs at HOH as well as at these shows:
3/10/10 Orlando, FL @ The Social w/ Small Brown Bike, Young Brother
3/11/10 Gainesville, FL @ Common Grounds w/ Small Brown Bike, Cheap Girls, The Measure (SA), Grabass Charlestons
