No Friends 12"

I just got the No Friends - Traditional Failures 12" test pressing. This thing fucking rips. Old school DC influenced hardcore. If you don't already know it's Tony Foresta from Municipal Waste on vocals with yr fave Orlando, FL punks from Gatorface, New Mexican Disaster Squad and Virgins: Sam, Alex, and Richard backing it up with the solid riffage and beats. Turn this shit on blast cause this record is LOUD and meant to be played that way.

Little over 8 minutes on a 45 speed one sided 12" with full printed inner sleeve and art by Richard Minino AKA Horsebites http://www.horsebitesdesign.com/

This should be out in time for the TOUR!! That's right they are actually going to play some shows. Keep yr eyes and ear peeled cause Virgins has some shit coming up next!! All i can tell you right now is this record is gonna blow yr mind.

Holy Shit! We updated the shows section!

For the first time since 2008, the Kiss of Death website is now up to date with current show listings. Let that soak in for a second... Now pick your jaw up off the floor, click on "Shows and Tours" to find out where all the coolest KOD bands will be partying their asses off (and possibly playing some songs).

Madison Bloodbath acoustic video and Homewreckers review!

For all of you that thought that I might have been a liar, here is the proof that we will be updating this thing often: MORE NEWS!

MADISON BLOODBATH just informed me of the existence of some live acoustic session videos available out there in the internet world. If you haven't seen these yet you should really check them all out HERE, but if you only have time for one, look HERE for them performing "The Golden State Is Not So Golden" from their SPLIT with ANCHOR ARMS. You won't be sorry.

Also in positive KOD news, Bryne from PUNKNEWS.ORG wrote a pretty glowing review of a recent release that we're extremely proud of, namely THE HOMEWRECKERS first 7 inch "Daydreaming About Assholes." You can check out all of the wonderful things he had to say about it HERE and go pick up a copy based on that review right HERE.

Talk to all of you soon!

Big Updates! Big Changes!

Things are changing here at Kiss of Death and that means we're going to be letting you all in on the comings and goings of the label a LOT more frequently from here on out. We're going to keep things current so that you know what the hell we're doing as well as what the hell our bands are up to. Sound good? We thought so. I'm Alex and I'll be spearheading the information overload that's heading your way. I play in Gatorface, No Friends, Virgins and used to play in New Mexican Disaster Squad. If you need anything from KOD for press purposes feel free to contact me at alexkodrecs@gmail.com and I'll get it done or point you in the right direction.

Here's a rundown on what some of our bands have been up to, and from here on out you can expect us to let you know this stuff so that you can be in-the-know.

We just recently released a split 7" with O' PIONEERS and Announcement. This record was previously released by Raise Your Fist, but hasn't been available for quite some time. All you collectors out there can finally finish up your OP collections by picking this baby up right HERE.

KOD also finally made available the split 7" featuring The Knockdown and How Dare You. Unfortunately, THE KNOCKDOWN have called it quits, but most of the dudes involved have picked up right where they left off with a new band called TIMESHARES and they'll be touring at the end of March on the east coast. HOW DARE YOU on the other hand are still going strong. You can preview both of their songs from the 7" ("Still Young" and "Brothers on the Back Porch") on their MYSPACE and a little birdy tells me they're working on a bunch of new material. Pick up the split HERE.

MONIKERS sadly have grown lazier and lazier in their old age. With Ryan now living the Brooklyn hipster lifestyle, they have not been terribly active (or active at all) in the past few months. Luckily, we very recently released an EP of some of their most killer songs called "Men." You can grab that 5-song gem right HERE.

On the other hand, there's an upside to Ryan from Monikers trading his Florida home for a "cooler" (literally and figuratively) one. He managed to join forces with Pat from Bridge and Tunnel and Josh (an ex-member of Off With Their Heads) to become STOLEN PARTS. You can pick up their EP we released right HERE if you find yourself jonesin' for more of Ryan's trademark rasp.

We also just released an LP and CD for Buffalo, NY's UNWELCOME GUESTS. If you haven't heard these guys yet you really need to, and it just so happens that their entire album "Don't Go Swimming" is streaming over at PUNKNEWS.ORG. Take a listen, then go right HERE and snag yourself a copy.

ANCHOR ARMS have hit a little bump in the road after releasing their excellent split with MADISON BLOODBATH. Their drummer Brian will be parting ways with them after Harvest of Hope to dedicate more time to his growing family. If you think you've got the time, chops, right attitude and live in Gainesville they might just be looking for you to fill the vacancy.

Richmond, VA's MOUTHBREATHER are looking to book around a 20 day tour this summer. We'll have more info on that in the future, but until then you can grab some of their releases HERE and keep your fingers crossed that they hit your town.

Lastly, I'm sure you've heard that NORTH LINCOLN have called it quits. They will be recording their final 5 songs and look to release a recording of their final show in the near future. Luckily, the boys have moved on to other projects already. Kevin is playing in WORMBURNER, John is now in HANGER and Brian is now playing with JUST FOR KICKS. You can pick up their s/t 7" we released right HERE.

That's all for now, but expect a whole lot more coming your way very soon!
